Snowmaking will fuel Deer Valley Resort’s next era of skiing
Deer Valley Resort’s historic terrain expansion required nearly 50 miles of trenching this summer to support a new snowmaking system, with enough pipe and wire to reach Salt Lake City.
The low-energy system nearly doubles the resort’s current snowmaking capacity, supplying more than 300 acres of coverage across 2,900 acres of new terrain and almost 100 trails set to open this winter. The project is powered by a pump house capable of fueling all 1,200 new snow guns
